[Fresh Food Cold Chain] Jicaisong, Distribution Platform of a Top-10 Chinese Group Catering Brand, Goes Live with Gwall WMS

Hongjun Group—a Top-10 Chinese group catering brand—has brought its distribution platform Jicaisong live on Gwall WMS. Based on diverse fresh food management requirements, the project fully upgrades the group's warehousing and distribution system to support the supply needs of nearly 100 stores.

Founded in 1998, Hongjun Catering Management Co., Ltd. is a large integrated catering service group operating across the entire industry chain, covering Shenzhen canteen contracting, Guangzhou cafeteria contracting, catering contracting, ingredient distribution, kitchen and restaurant design, pre-cut vegetable processing, food culture, and catering consulting. As an enterprise under Hongjun Group, it primarily provides group catering services to enterprises and institutions, including schools, hospitals, government agencies, and office buildings.

JCS Guangdong Jicaisong Food Technology Co., Ltd., under Hongjun Group, operates the largest cold chain distribution platform in the group catering industry nationwide, ensuring the freshness and safety of food. The company has a transport fleet of more than 80 vehicles, logistics and warehousing facilities covering 10,000 square meters, and an agricultural by-product production and processing base of more than 40,000 mu (about 2,667 hectares). It has now expanded its reach to five regions: South China, East China, Central China, Southwest China, and North China.

Refined Management of Fresh Food Warehousing

For this project, a personalized and professional solution was provided based on Jicaisong's actual warehousing and logistics needs, meeting the different control requirements of standard products such as food and beverages and rice, flour, grains, and oils, as well as non-standard products such as fruits and vegetables and fish, poultry, eggs, and meat, enabling multi-dimensional fresh food control.

The project optimizes inbound and outbound processes, flexibly configures acceptance and release rules, and supports cross-docking and over-issue outbound. Through WMS-guided operations, it comprehensively improves work efficiency and supports the efficient outbound needs of dozens of tons of fresh food and thousands of items per day, thereby serving the supply business of nearly 100 stores.
