902 warehouses, over 8 million square meters of warehousing space, seven consecutive years on the Global Unicorn 500
How does it achieve unified control across multiple warehouses and support efficient fulfillment of tens of millions of annual orders?

Seven Consecutive Years on the Global Unicorn 500

RRS Supply Chain is China's leading supply chain management solutions and scenario-based logistics service provider, and a leading scenario-based logistics ecosystem brand under Haier in the IoT era. Leveraging advanced management concepts and logistics technology, and integrating world-class network resources, it has built an open, technology-driven, digital and scenario-based IoT logistics ecosystem platform. RRS Supply Chain has been named to the "Global Unicorn 500" for seven consecutive years and, as the only brand selected from the logistics and supply chain field, has ranked among the "Asia's Top 500 Brands" for five consecutive years.

The distributed cloud warehouse system built by RRS spans 902 warehouses and nearly 5,000 service outlets, with total warehousing area exceeding 8 million square meters. Its smart cloud distribution network covers the entire country with more than 15,000 trunk line routes, providing customers and users with differentiated services characterized by nationwide coverage, door-to-door delivery in villages and synchronized delivery and installation. As one of the few companies on the market with end-to-end supply chain management capability, it fully integrates warehousing, transportation and distribution nodes across the whole process and was among the first to deploy AI digital cloud warehouses for intelligent scheduling and automated operations.

RRS Supply Chain's warehousing and distribution network spans the globe, providing integrated supply chain solutions for Haier Smart Home's business as well as numerous external brand clients. Its services cover home appliances, home furnishing, automotive, FMCG, cold chain, photovoltaics and industrial manufacturing, integrating online and offline channels across the board, with business reaching more than 200 countries and regions.

As business continued to expand, RRS saw rapid growth in volumes across categories such as small home appliances, FMCG, food and beverage, and smart home. Facing business needs involving multiple cargo owners plus multiple online and offline platforms, its original system platform struggled to adapt. RRS therefore launched an upgrade of its warehousing and logistics platform system for small and medium-sized item business. By introducing an integrated warehousing and logistics platform, it comprehensively improved fulfillment levels and refined operational management, while its configurable, extensible platform capabilities provide full support for long-term future business development.

Diversified Platform Business Growth, Filling Gaps in Core Supply Chain Capabilities

Deep Insight into Appliance Logistics, Efficient Fulfillment + Quality Traceability

Small home appliances have a high degree of packaging standardization but varying sizes, and generally require strict SN-code traceability and batch management. On this basis, appliance logistics exhibits characteristics such as a large number of SKUs, large stocking inventory, order intake across multiple platforms, operations across multiple warehouses and pronounced high-concurrency peaks. Among these, the ToC e-commerce business features many single-item orders, whole-pallet-in and piece-out operations, fine-grained accessory specifications, the need to connect with multiple express platforms and high fulfillment timeliness requirements.

By deploying the Gwall WMS warehouse management system, RRS Supply Chain achieved three capability improvements for its small and medium-sized appliance business:
  • Refined operations and more efficient warehousing-fulfillment collaboration: The system has a built-in best-practice model for appliance warehouse planning, providing optimal configuration plans for storage zones, locations and picking paths that flexibly adapt to diverse business workflows and operating strategies.Taking outbound picking as an example, through flexible definition of order splitting + wave strategies + picking and packing methods, shipping efficiency increased by more than 30%, significantly improving warehousing and logistics fulfillment capability and supporting RRS's business scale of tens of millions of annual orders.
  • Full-process traceable closed loop: From inbound quality inspection to outbound shipping, full-category coding management is applied to the logistics elements in the warehouse, including finished products, accessories, packaging materials and containers, with full-process, batch-based control. It supports forward and reverse traceability by SN code, allowing every appliance product to be traced back to its production line, production personnel and raw material BOM.
  • Omnichannel order fulfillment support: It provides an open API platform for unified intake of online and offline omnichannel orders, with seamless connectivity to mainstream express platforms and encrypted e-commerce platforms. During major promotions it scales rapidly and elastically, supports intelligent scheduling across multiple warehouses in different locations, and tracks logistics progress in real time—building a solid fulfillment foundation for the continued expansion of appliance business.

Group-Wide Unified Control, Digital and Transparent Operations

RRS Supply Chain chose to partner with Gwall Technology, using Gwall WMS as the core to transform the "each doing its own thing" management model across warehouses into unified data distribution and centralized control. The system supports group-level multiple business forms and multiple organizational structures. Headquarters can view inventory levels, operational progress and key business metrics at each warehouse in real time, making digital, visual operations management the norm.

From inbound putaway and in-warehouse operations to outbound handover, the entire process is conducted online with data synchronized in real time. The system provides multi-dimensional data reports, integrating AI, BI and big data capabilities, and combined with data dashboard applications, monitors inventory, operational efficiency and order fulfillment progress in real time. Through intelligent identification and proactive alerts, it automatically recommends optimal resource scheduling plans, moving management decisions from "experience-driven" to "data-driven."

Flexible Support for Multiple Cargo Owners, a Core Engine for Business Growth

RRS Supply Chain not only handles logistics fulfillment for Haier's internal business but also delivers integrated supply chain service capability to numerous external brand clients. Through the Gwall WMS warehouse management system, it flexibly adapts to the individualized needs of cross-industry clients in home appliances, home furnishing, FMCG, new energy, and fresh food and cold chain, readily handling the differentiated requirements of different cargo owners across workflow, inventory management, billing models and service agreements within a nationwide multi-warehouse footprint.

With standardized services as its foundation, Gwall WMS helped RRS build a comprehensive digital operations management system—achieving overall control of Haier's small home appliance business internally while, externally, providing more than 3,500 enterprise clients with stable and efficient fulfillment through replicable, extensible supply chain capability. It will continue to optimize operational efficiency and service levels, steadily increasing customer loyalty, expanding to more leading industry clients and extending its business footprint into broader markets.

With its high degree of flexibility and extensibility, Gwall WMS helped RRS Supply Chain build a smart warehousing and logistics foundation, achieving a leap in fulfillment capability, group-wide unified control and ecosystem revenue growth across multiple cargo owners. From serving Haier's small home appliances to empowering 3,500+ enterprise clients, RRS has undergone a capability evolution and developmental leap from "corporate logistics → supply chain enterprise → ecosystem platform." Gwall Technology will continue to use professional solutions to help more supply chain enterprises unlock value and achieve resilient growth.
